The Research and Evaluation team (RE-team) works to ensure that the Board of Directors, Health District staff, partner organizations, and members of the community have accurate, research-based information for decision-making.
What We Do
Community Health Assessment: Every three years since 1995, the RE-team has conducted a comprehensive Community Health Assessment to provide insight into the health status and needs of residents.
Program evaluation: The RE-team develops evaluation plans and data gathering methods for new or evolving Health District programs and services and assists with quality improvement initiatives.
Research and technical assistance: RE-team members conduct research, literature reviews, and data interpretation on specific health topics and provides technical assistance to partnering organizations on evaluation, survey research methods, and community health assessments.
Whom We Work With
Community Partners: The RE-team gathers information and works collaboratively with other organizations to improve health locally.
Internship, Practicum and Capstone Students: The RE-team can provide placement opportunities for graduate students from accredited colleges and universities. Student opportunities vary depending on current project workload and student interest and typically engage students in community health assessment and program evaluation efforts.
